The current dikes on Sprogø can withstand a water level of 2.5 m above daily waters. In the future, during a 10,000-year event in 50 years, high tides are expected to reach 3.25 m above daily waters.

The current dikes, which must withstand the waves, can right now withstand a wave height of 4.0 m. In the future, the maximum wave height in a 10,000-year event is expected to reach 4.4 m.

The current dike height on the north side of Sprogø is 5.0 m. In the future, the dike height is expected to be 6.5 m.
